USD 263 consists of Munson Primary School (Pre-k-2), Mulvane Grade School (3-5) Mulvane Middle School (6-8) Mulvane High School (9-12) and Mulvane Academy (9-12, max of 20 students). The city was founded in 1879 as a railroad/agricultural community.  The name Mulvane was selected for the city after deciding that Joab Mulvane was inspirational in developing the city.
