July is National Ice Cream Month! 31 days to celebrate cones, sundaes, milkshakes, banana splits, and more. And by "celebrate," we naturally mean "eat." Of course, you're moving, so you'll have to find some good ice cream parlors near your new home. There are plenty of Wichita homes for sale, but how many have ice cream nearby? All of them, if you know where to look. Here are some of our favorite ice cream places in and around Wichita.

Churn & Burn - 548 S. Oliver, Wichita, KS 67218
This locally owned and sourced ice cream shop is a mesh of delicious opposites. Churn & Burn specializes in both ice cream treats and hot coffee. They also take classic, old ice cream recipes and modernize them by flash freezing their desserts in liquid nitrogen. Offering both dine-in and takeout, they have a wide variety of flavors, from cranberry walnut to strawberry balsamic to cinnamon, made to order with your favorite mix-ins and sauces.
