Meet Willie Eaton, Rick Hopper Team, REALTOR

Willie grew up in South Western Virginia and after graduating from high school, followed the recommendations of family with a move to the Texas Panhandle to work on a cattle ranch.  He worked in various jobs trying to save money to attend college and received a rodeo scholarship at Frank Phillips College in Borger, Texas before transferring to Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas where he graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) in Management.  While attending Texas Tech, Willie met the love of his life, Debbie Huddelston, from Midland, Texas.  Upon graduation Willie and Debbie were married, Willie was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the USAF, and attended undergraduate navigator training at Mather AFB, California.  During his career in the Air Force, Willie served in Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom, Joint Guard and several other contingency operations.  He served as Instructor Navigator KC-135 air refueling  aircraft, Director of Intelligence, Director of Operations for Cyber Intelligence Red Team, and Aircraft Maintenance Squadron Commander.  After 26 years of service, Lieutenant Colonel Eaton retired in 2014 at McConnell AFB, Kansas.  Shortly before his retirement Willie joined the Rick Hopper Team with J.P. Weigand & Sons Inc., serving two years as a REALTOR® before being called to the Mission Field.  Willie and Debbie served as House Parents at Miracle Farm boys ranch in Brenham, Texas for 3 years to help struggling young men experience healing, earn an education, and learn respect.  Willie and Debbie raised their two children in Rose Hill, Kansas and now have returned home to Wichita.   Willie has rejoined J.P. Weigand & Sons inc., Cathy Sheets, Branch Broker - Belle Plaine Office and the Rick Hopper Team to continue serving in the real estate industry!
