Meet Randy Flickinger, REALTOR

Since joining J.P. Weigand & Sons, Inc. West Office in January of 2018, Randy Flickinger has been a whirlwind of real estate success, qualifying for our High Five Awards banquet within his first quarter with the agency. “It is a distinct honor to be trusted by clients to take care of their real estate needs”, he often is heard quoting. “When people trust you enough to work with what is usually the largest financial transaction of their lives, you need to take that serious. You have to be the Professional” Good words learned from 36 years of experience as a Realtor! Flickinger spent 58 years of his life living 50 miles North of Wichita in McPherson, where he owned and managed Advantage Real Estate Services, Inc., his extremely successful real estate brokerage. During his tenure in McPherson, Randy sold over 2,000 properties totaling in excess of $250 million dollars in sales volume! When asked about his remarkable success in his former location, Randy stated, “I just like to sell. Whether it is a vacant lot, or a multi-million dollar shopping center, I enjoy the challenge of bringing buyers and sellers together. My goal is to make the transaction happen, while doing my best to protect my clients with honesty and integrity.” Randy comes to Wichita with a very diverse background, holding a Secondary Education teaching degree from 1982, a turn for State Senate in 1996, and two-terms as a BOE member responsible for the construction of several schools and additions in McPherson. Additionally, Randy has over 15 years on public radio being the “Voice of the Bullpups” for the high school football and basketball programs, and co-host with his wife of 38 years, Sandi, on Sound off McPherson, the local call-in live topic show. He has been honored as Realtor of the Year, been Board President 4 times, and was selected to be in the Kansas Association of Realtors Honor Society due to his real estate accomplishments. Randy & Sandi are active in the local Baptist church, both teaching (Randy – 75+ aged adults, Sandi – 3-5 year old kids), has been Moderator for 9 years, and has been honored to actually give the sermon (message) on several occasions. The Flickingers have 3 grown children, and 5 grandchildren, most of which are living in Wichita as well. He looks forward to benefitting his clients in Wichita with his wealth of knowledge and experience!
