Meet Mark Fox, REALTOR®

Mark, a native Kansan, joined J.P. Weigand & Sons, Inc. in early 2022 after a 30+ year career in education and coaching. Because of that background in coaching he indicated that it was "important to find a group that understands the idea of 'team', that promotes honesty and integrity, and values the concepts of trust and relationships."

Mark is a member of the National Association of Realtors® (NAR), Kansas Association of Realtors® (KAR), Realtors® of South Central Kansas (RSCK), and South Central Kansas Multi-Listing Services (SCK-MLS). He has also completed the Elite Certified Agent (E.C.A.) training through RSCK, and is a Certified New Home Specialist (C.N.H.S.). Additionally, he continues to build on his Real Estate education by regularly attending courses and seminars.

Mark has a Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Kansas, and obtained his Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Emporia State University. He has taught math and science to middle and high schoolers, and Sports Marketing/Management and Philosophy of Coaching courses at the collegiate level.

Mark is well known in Newton and the surrounding communities, and currently serves as President of the Newton Baseball Club, along with sitting on the Public Building Commission board. While no longer teaching or coaching professionally, he continues to coach youth baseball in the summers, and volunteers on a regular basis at Sand Creek Station Golf Course when they host events.

Mark believes that the attention to detail that it takes to be a successful teacher and coach, along with the relationship building required to recruit collegiate student-athletes will serve him, and you, well as you navigate the buying or selling of your home.
