Kathy grew up in Hutchinson and has lived in Kansas her entire life. In 1985 she married Frank Stucky. They have 3 children; Chris, Vanessa and Nathan. All 3 of her children attended Newton Public Schools. Being Grandma "Kacky" to Reese, Carson, Haley, Marley, Ruby, Cora, Maddy and Neve Jule is one of her greatest joys in life. Kathy has a Master’s Degree in Science Education from Wichita State University. She was a middle school Math and Science teacher for 23 years. Feeling the need for a break from teaching and at the urging of her husband, she left teaching and began her real estate career in 2001. Kathy is active in the Newton community. She is a Newton Community Foundation Board of Trustees member, a former Kauffman Museum Board of Trustees member and a current member of Newton Women’s Community Foundation Board of Trustees. She has been active in bettering her community and was a former board member on Habitat for Humanity and is a current volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. She and Frank are actively involved in their church activities at Bethel College Mennonite Church. Kathy enjoys the challenges of being a REALTOR® in the ever-changing world of real estate. As a former teacher she knows how to help buyers stretch their dollars to achieve the goal of home ownership. She excels in creative problem solving and enjoys helping sellers get the maximum dollar for their home. “My clients and customers know that I put 110% effort in making their dreams come true”!
