Meet Johnathan Weigand, Commercial Associate

Johnathan joined his family company in the Commercial Division of J.P. Weigand & Sons, Inc. in 2018 to pursue brokerage in the commercial sectors of real estate. He works in conjunction with the leadership team to grow the company as well as having a primary focus in office, multi-family, retail, and hospitality. Since his beginning at the company Johnathan has tasked himself with growing his market knowledge of the business by exemplifying integrity, professionalism, sales & leasing experience, and values.

After attending WSU and prior to moving back to Wichita, KS. Johnathan worked in many different businesses. He served as Vice President of a Venture capital finance group Steel Pier Capital; a New York City based private equity firm that invested in both private and public companies around the world. Johnathan also was President and C.E.O. of Goldstar Jets, Inc. Where he owned, operated, and managed a nine-plane fleet in his private jet company which had a predominate focus with “on demand” air travel based in Chicago, IL. With a background in entrepreneurial business around the country, Johnathan has felt humbled and blessed to come back to his roots in Kansas.

Johnathan has been honored to receive Championship Club status every year he’s been with the company. He has been recognized by the Wichita Business Journal as an Emerging Leader in 2019 as well as a recipient of the prestigious 40 Under 40 award in 2020. Johnathan’s dedication to the company and servicing clients continues to be his ultimate passion along with raising his two sons.
