Meet Cheryl Newburn, REALTOR

Cheryl began working with real estate by managing her own rentals, enjoyed the challenge and decided to get her real estate license. She chose J.P. Weigand & Sons because of their excellent reputation and long history. Almost a decade later she is happy to still be a part of the Weigand family. Cheryl attended Cranford Business College and graduated from Hutchinson Community College in 2002 with an Associate of Arts Degree. She is currently a substitute teacher for the Buhler School District and continues to manage her own rental properties. Before her career in real estate, Cheryl worked for Tyson Food in customer service for 18 years and also owned a store called “Kansas Creations and Gifts”. She then began investing in rental properties, found that challenging and decided to go into the real estate business on the sales side. With her years of customer service and business background, she knows what it takes to make her customers and clients happy. Cheryl has two daughters, four granddaughters and two grandsons. Her oldest daughter is a beautician and is currently working on her Associate Degree. Her youngest daughter has a Masters Degree in nursing and is currently working as an ARNP. Cheryl is someone who makes friends easily. She loves to socialize and likes to meet new people. If she finds something that needs to get accomplished, she will get it done somehow or someway. Working as a property manager has given Cheryl a better understanding of how to help others build their real estate investment portfolio.
