In order to begin, you must first be at least 18 years of age. You are also required to have a high school diploma or something of equivalence, as well as be free of felonies.
Complete a 30-hour Principles of Real Estate Course from Career Education Systems ($250.00) You must have this certificate of completion before registering for the real Real Estate Exam.
Pass the two sections of the Licensure Exam ($82.00, and a $75.00 re-take exam, if necessary) through Pearson VUE. The test contains 80 general questions, and 30 on specific state questions. In order to pass, a 70% or higher is necessary.
Submit a finger print to KBI/FBI for a criminal background check ($60.00)
