Autumn is quickly approaching and our city will soon be vibrant with the magnificent hues of fall and crisp air to fuel our enthusiasm for the upcoming holidays! Whether you may be a sports guru or a hopeless romantic, there are plenty of adventures to embark on in Wichita this fall!
Visit Local Coffee Shops!
I say “Local Coffee Shops” with such enthusiasm because, Wichita has a few “knock your socks off” good locally owned coffee shops! Check out a few of my personal favorites;
As I’ve said in the past “the shop’s name exemplifies the experience”. Get lost in the wonderful aroma of locally roasted and brewed coffee and take in all the local talent that decorates the walls. Visit Reverie at 2611 E Douglas Ave, Wichita, KS.
The menu is good…and once you’ve got your feet wet, the barista will inform you there is a secret menu! Order the Velvet Thunder, it doesn’t disappoint! Expresso To Go Go now has two location; “The one with the Disco Ball” is located at 102 St. Francis, Wichita, KS and “The one with the unicorn” at The Lux is located at 102 E 1st St. N., Wichita, KS – Click Here to view location hours.
Did you know that Little Lion Ice cream is more than just ice cream? You may be surprised that their coffee is just as good as their artisan ice cream. Perhaps, while you’re there you can have ice cream and coffee! Don’t worry. No one will judge or hardly blame you! Stop by Little Lion Ice Cream’s new location at Revolutsia located at 2721 E Central, Wichita, KS.
Tour an Orchard and Pick your own fruit
This activity is on my fall bucket list and I will be dragging my family, willingly or not, to visit a local orchard before the first snow falls on Wichita, Kansas. All venues listed below grow, harvest and allow you to pick your own fruit! To all the husbands out there…You’re welcome!
